GPOY (gratuitous picture of yourself) To start talking about this picture, I have to said that this summer I went to my aunt’s house in Chaitén, to work on her restaurant and spent time with her and my cousin, because we never see each other because both live so far away of me and my other family. So, this picture was taken one of the last days I was there, with my cousin. This day we had a picnic day in a beautiful place near Chaitén called “El Amarillo” with all the guys that worked on the pizzeria (we all were between 16-23 years old). We had a really good day, we laughed a lot, relax, sang, ate a lot, and took too many pictures, because this place is so beautiful, really if you do not know it, please go! Is wonderful, it is a mix of green, rain, sea, and nice people, I am sure you would have a great time, if you like calm places of course. I have to said that take this picture was a total challenge, I had like 10 pictures on my phone, all of them we are laughing or talk...
POSTGRADUATE STUDIES Masters and doctorates in social science are a lot, and they are related with many different topics. As i am studding anthropology i am interested on the cultural areas, like history. That’s why I want to do a Master in Latin American Studies. This master includes axis like study of culture, history, thought and literature, from the perspective of the humanistic disciplines. Despite I always want to travel to Europe, because there is a lot of knowledge about social science and things like that, I am so interested on Latin American history and how that explains a lot of things nowadays, (and to do that I have to study here, I mean Latin America) and also because I really like to identify the differences and similarities between the different countries because the story of their people. This master is here in Chile, specifically in Universidad de Chile, but if I had the chance to travel to another Latin American country to do a similar master, where I will l...
My future job This is a really difficult question to me because i do not have an ideal job to do for the rest of my life, quite the opposite, one of the reasons I am studying anthropology is because there are a lot of possibilities to work in many different areas, and that allows me to work on different stuff for the rest of my life instead of only one. If you forced me to choose a future job I will choose the typical anthropology job (or the ideal picture, I think, of an anthropologist): work with different communities, know them, study them, live with them and try to involve myself with their customs. Today I think no one would pay me for doing that, because it is like an obsolete job, but I can dream here because is my blog. It is like a job where you learn a lot of other cultures with the objective that the other people know about them and their way of like, what they believe and many other differences you can notice between cultures. Other reason I choose this career, leaving...

What are you really into? Today, like in this moment I am not really into anything, because college uses all my time, every time! It is horrible (Okay not all the time, but it feels like that). But I have been always in love with Harry Potter. I read all the books a lot of times; I have watched the movies thousands of times, etc. My love starts on 7 grade when my school forced me to read the third book (I have to admit that when I was little Harry Potter scared me a little, because all He –That-Must-Not-Be-Named stuff), so I read it against my will, but I really, really loved it, so I decide to read the  others books and watch the movies. Another thing that I really like of the story is this idea of the magic world hidden in our “real” world. Also my favorite books are the half-blood prince, and the prisoner of Azkaban. I don’t know what else I can tell you, I think it is a really good story, it haa complete plot, I think there are a lot of good ideas, and subtle...
